A Message from the CEO
When I decided to create DIVICO in the 80’s, I was certain that my passion for technological innovation would lead DIVICO to become what it is today. It was a difficult run in a country like Greece, where diligence, passion and love of the field do not always go hand in hand with success, which is often reserved for those who opt for an easier method, one that does not aim at building a company that will stand the test of time.
On the other hand, DIVICO never felt like work to me, at least not in the traditional sense of the word. Even today, it feels to me like another family member, which I was lucky enough to watch as it grew and stood on its own “two feet”. Also, my “obsession” to escape the limits of my CEO responsibilities and live in each and every section of Divico Security, fight for every innovation, be motivated by every challenge, often baffles my partners and friends.
However, hard work and planning allow us to be satisfied by what we have accomplished, but also look forward to where the road that we paved with our hard work will take us.
From the early stages, I realized that our clients have been – and are encouraged to be – very demanding. This led me to expand Divico Security’s activities nationally. I never thought Divico Security would remain stagnant or I would content myself with regional success.
I knew that I had to offer anyone who chose to use our services for the surveillance of their home or business, and essentially their life, the absolute certainty that we could deliver under any circumstances. Within the span of four decades, I have been faced with many challenges, but winning the trust of any discerning client is a challenge that never ceased to bring me joy!
I realize I have been a lucky man. I never had to separate my personal life from my professional identity. I have created an industry leading company, all thanks to my passion for the field of security services, which I still carry inside. Enthusiasm and passion is what made us who we are today and I am certain we will reach even greater heights!
