SECURITY

Perimeter Surveillance

The rise in crime and security breaches of residential and business premises dictates the need for the installation of a CCTV system.

Divico Security specializes in properly installing advanced CCTV systems and chooses to use high-quality products (Hikvision) to ensure the smooth and correct operation of your security system.

However, a proper study of the premises is what makes all the difference. Our experienced consultants study the efficiency of the premises and recommend solutions that have been specifically designed for each space, to eliminate vulnerabilities and “blind spots”.

Types of Security Cameras

  • DarkFighter/
    Starlight
  • With Video Analytics
  • PTZ
  • Fisheye
  • Thermal cameras
  • Analogue cameras

The DarkFighter Series combines a bigger sensor, an optimized lens and advanced technology to provide exceptional image throughout the day, as well as high quality color image at night.

More specifically, it uses special sensors that are more photosensitive, have a high signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) and a wide dynamic range. Their pixel area is almost double compared to that of a normal sensor and it significantly improves the quantity of light that passes through, which is a main component for better performance in dim lighting.

At the same time, DarkFighter design modifies the order of the photosensitive layer and the metallic layer in the sensor. This way, brightness is improved by 30%.

Cameras with Video Analytics analyze videos in real time. In particular they can categorize the recorded material, facilitating the search process. Depending on each camera and with the help of artificial intelligence technology, the cameras can recognize faces, license plates, temperature, fever, count people, etc.

Cameras can be divided into:

  • No VCA Analytics Cameras
  • VCA Analytics Cameras
  • Acusense Cameras
  • Darkfighter Cameras
  • Smart Tracking Cameras
  • Fever Detection Cameras
  • Traffic Counting Cameras
  • Cameras with Heat Map function
  • Face Recognition Cameras
  • Thermal-thermographic cameras
  • Explosion Proof Cameras

A PTZ camera is a specialized video security camera that enables remote control of its direction and zoom.

An innovation that has been incorporated into the firmware of PTZ cameras is the software that monitors the changes of the pixels recorded in video by the camera. When a change in pixels is observed due to some movement in the camera's field of view, the camera focuses on the specific point where the change was observed and moves towards it in an attempt to center the pixel change in the video.

Most cameras are still-fixed, so the remote view will show you the area right in front of where you placed it. This is where PTZ cameras come in. These cameras are motorized on all axes of movement. PTZ security cameras cover a much wider area than fixed cameras, allowing you to move them from side to side, tilt the lens up and down and zoom via remote control. These cameras are ideal for picking out details in a crowd. Typically, these are the most expensive cameras that DIY security enthusiasts can buy.

Fisheye cameras offer 360-degree panoramic surveillance and are suitable for general surveillance and control of large areas such as shops, hotels, restaurants, warehouses, etc.

The structure of fisheye cameras with panoramic tracking eliminates "blind spots" offering greater control of space.

Thermal imaging cameras, like any other camera, collect electromagnetic radiation which they transform into an image. Common optical cameras operate with visible light while thermal cameras are designed to operate in a much larger range of the spectrum that is invisible to human vision.

Applications:

  • Fever Screening
  • Craft & Industry
  • Fire Detection/Fire Safety

Analog surveillance cameras require a central control and data recording device – known as a DVR (Digital Video Recorder). The DVR records the analog video feeds from the cameras to a hard drive.
