Fire Detection Systems
Fire Detection
Systems
Your premises are not only at risk of a break-in, but also of an unexpected fire. Divico Security offers integrated fire-detection solutions for businesses & homes using high-quality products.
Fire Detection Systems
An integrated fire detection system consists of:
- central panel
- keyboard
- fire detection siren
- fire detection button
- smoke detectors
- temperature detectors
Conventional systems
If a detector or a fire button is triggered, the panel can trace which circuit includes the device and indicate which zone the fire alarm is coming from. The indicated zone can then be manually searched to trace the device which was triggered.
Conventional systems are the ideal solution for smaller buildings, where it is not hard to track the triggered device in any given zone.
Addressable systems
Smart addressable systems go beyond the limitations of conventional systems, because each fire detector or button has been electronically coded with a unique identifier or “address” at the time of the installation.
By using each device’s unique address, the control panel has a two-way communication with every addressable device connected to the system.
All devices are checked by the control panel whether they are working properly and how much smoke or warmth are detected at any given time by any device.
Thanks to their focus function, which allows them to pinpoint the device that has been triggered by an alarm or by mistake, addressable systems are the perfect solution for large buildings with many rooms and storeys.
